John Thackara is a writer, advisor and event producer. For three decades, he has travelled the world looking for current examples of what a sustainable future can be like.

John is the author of a widely-read column at designobserver.com, and of the best-selling book In the Bubble: Designing In A Complex World (which has been published in nine languages).
