Qayum Mannan

Qayum (aka Q.) is the London Programme Coordinator for UpRising. Qayum has worked at leading interfaith and intercultural organisations (such as the Three Faiths Forum and Open Society Foundation), campaigned on varying issues (clothes waste, gender discrimination, migrant stories to name but a few), helped write policy reports on youth unemployment for the Young Fabians and has recently finished his Masters in Public Policy at UCL. Qayum is an alumnus of the 2012/2013 UpRising Leadership Programme and joined the team after spending 3 years as a member of UpRising’s Emerging Leaders Advisory Board.
