Matteo Agati

Bachelor of Industrial design and Design&Engineering MSc at Politecnico di Milano (where he won his first prize for Ducati Energia), Matteo also studied in Sweden, at Chalmers University (Göteborg), where he got in touch with different methods and styles. In the last years he got closer to the furniture design field, considering it as much complicated as interesting, always keeping the right equilibrium between innovation and style.

Matteo won the great opportunity to attend the “Italian Product Design” Master course at Istituto Marangoni with “Pagh” for the contest “Sit down!” made by Ist Marangoni and Cappellini. Recently he also won the “RADO Star Prize Italy 2016” with the and Hyperethereal Eyeglasses project and “Elle Decor + TID” contest with me2 family vases.

At the moment, Matteo collaborates with Istituto Marangoni and works as a designer for several italian companies. Moreover, he’s also a creative consultant for some design studios, focusing on design as shape and style with strong technical skill as well.
