Yasha Grobman

Architect Dr. Yasha (Jacob) Grobman is an architect and a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion, IIT. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem (1997) and holds a Master of Architecture from the Design Research Laboratory in the Architectural Association (AA) in London (2001) and a PhD from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology (2008). He was awarded in numerous architectural prizes and competitions, among them are Yuli Ofer Prize for Advancement of Architecture (2009), AI Best Architectural Project of the Year 2008/9 Design Award. He is the author of numerous papers in academic and professional journals and co-author of book on Performalism released by Routledge press in 2011.
