BE OPEN at COP29 in Baku: presentation of the sustainability-focused competition programme

At COP29, BE OPEN hosted a session dedicated to our competition programme in support of the UN SGDs. We shared our experience of fostering and awarding the best design ideas from young people around the world. At the session, BE OPEN celebrated and gave stage to 6 of the winners of Design Your Climate Action, the most recent of our sustainability-focused competitions. We hope this session becomes an inspiration for our winners’ peers all over the world to get involved in sustainable causes.

BE OPEN Launches BE OPEN Cultural Tapestry Open Call to celebrate the richness of diversity and cultural identities

BE OPEN is launching its next global open call across social media. With open calls, by asking the participants to share their vision with pictures and photographs, BE OPEN aims to support creativity as a universal approach, and build bonds between people around the globe.

BE OPEN believes that the ability for creative interpretation is not confined within the art and design industry. The series of online challenges reach out to those creative minds around the globe, who keep their eyes open, see inspiration in everyday life, and are able to transform it with their own unique vision.
