Amy Kazmin is the New Delhi-based South Asia correspondent for the Financial Times, the London-based newspaper. Before being posted to India in 2008, she spent eight years as the FT’s Bangkok-based South East Asia correspondent, responsible for covering Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia and Laos. Ms Kazmin has written for publications including the New Republic, The Diplomat, and Asian Affairs, and has won numerous awards for her work, including the Human Rights reporting award, and the Work Foundation’s Feature Writer of the year. Born in Los Angeles, Ms Kazmin was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, and the London School of Economics.
