Day One. Sensible & Sustainable

Francesco Morace stated that sustainability is one of the crucial paradigms in the lives of individuals and that it isn’t a trend. Whilst someone like Claire Brass, who spoke first, clearly believes in it as a new philosophy; a means of social Sass Brown’s testimony would lead one to think that it might be a means of social change. The all-female panel offered various strategies about how to achieve this which betrayed slightly different concepts of what ‘sustainable’ might be. Jane Penty and Luisa Collina concentrated on educating the next generation while Maria Sebregondi of Moleskine spoke about how creating a quality product which was kept and cherished was sustain.
