William was appointed Show Director of 100% Design in February 2012, which was held for the 18th time September 2012. William is the public face and spokesperson for 100% Design.
Having studied Modern History & Politics at the University of London, William began his career as a researcher / MP’s assistant in the House of Commons. His entry to design came in 1999 when joining the Design Council as Public Affairs Manager, taking on responsibility for government relations, international campaigns and liaison with the design community across the UK and overseas.
William joined the London Design Festival Ltd in May 2004; taking on responsibility for growing the overall programme, developing the annual marketing and communication campaign, strategic planning as well as business and stakeholder management. He established a range of new products, systems and strategic partnerships that now define the annual event.
