Kim joined the Mayor’s Fund in October 2012 from the Olympic Host Boroughs Unit, where she led a partnership agenda ensuring local people secured jobs resulting from the construction of Olympic venues and the hosting of the Games. Since graduating in 1980 she has worked in the public sector delivering major employment and skills programmes across the UK. She moved to east London in October 2007, as the Director of the East London City Strategy Pathfinder and later adviser to the Host Borough. During her time there she was responsible for securing and deploying over £50m of programme funding to help local people secure good jobs. In her early career Kim spent time working for the Prince’s Trust, and has worked in some of the most economically deprived areas of the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
