Credited by many as one of the world’s foremost arbiters of style and taste, Yaffa Assouline has captured the luxury industry as journalist, creative director and custom publisher for over 25 years. Recently she has brought her exceptional insight to a new concept in luxury coverage for the internet: luxuryculture.com. Yaffa Assouline is an innovator in made-to measure publishing. She developed the first in-flight consumer magazine Air France Madame, before creating customized books, magazines and advertising campaigns for leading brands such as Cartier, Christies, Dior, Chanel, Zenith, Veuve Clicquot, Ritz and Dorchester Group. Yaffa Assouline worked as a journalist for 13 years with the publishing company Filipacchi, developing and writing for magazines such as Paris Match, French Elle, and French Playboy. In 1986 she and her brothers founded the company Assouline, which soon became a reference point for branding, image, advertising and innovative in-house magazines for luxury brands. As managing director of and majority shareholder in Assouline, she is continually researching the evolution of modern luxury and devising ways to keep luxury brands fresh for consumers, discovering new ways to give expression to their desires.
