Armando Branchini

Vice Chairman of Fondazione Altagamma

Armando Branchini is Vice Chairman of Fondazione Altagamma, the Foundation representing Italian Luxury Companies and Brands. 

He is Past President and current member of the Executive Team of ECCIA – European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance composed of the five major European luxury goods and creative industries organizations:

Circulo Fortuny (Spain), Comité Colbert (France), Fondazione Altagamma (Italy), Meisterkreis (Germany) and Walpole British Luxury (UK).

ECCIA represents about 400 European high-end companies in seven main sectors: Cars, Personal Goods, Hotels and Leisure, Wines and Spirits, Gourmet Food, Design Furniture, Yachts and Boats. Altogether these companies directly employ 1,000,000 people in Europe, and indirectly employ more than 500,000 people in total.

Branchini is a professor of Business Strategy and Management of Luxury Companies at Bocconi University in Milan and has taught at IULM University in Milan and Bologna University.  He is also Vice Chairman of IMBC – Italian Mongolian Business Council of which he was one of the founders in the year 2008 and Chairman of the Board of InterCorporate, a consultancy specializing in business development and strategic marketing of luxury brands.
